After my husband suffered a severe traumatic brain injury in 2011, overnight, I became a carer and a single mum of four under 7's. Now, nine years on and as I have managed to survive on a bit more than gin and crisps and sobbing in a corner - I felt that creating a space to share my coping strategies to encourage other carers to do so.
Healthy food tips, positive ways to make the best of life & some personal notes as I document my life with my husband now & share the ways I have coped, in the hope you as a carer will prioritise 5 minutes per day to look after yourself with my 5 minute self-care tips.
